Treading the boards with the UK Theatre Awards
Welcome back to the Creative Awards London blog where we bring you the latest designs and goings on from the UK’s oldest established awards maker. In today’s blog we tread the boards, brush up on our Stanislavski and Meisner techniques and celebrate all that is the UK Theatre Awards.
Creative Awards London are proud to work with and support the British film and theatre industries. Many of our team have backgrounds in the various aspects of theatre and film from writing and directing to staging and lighting. Our love of theatre and film is something that we channel into each of the awards that we produce.
With this in mind we were delighted to be approached by UK Theatre to assist with their esteemed awards. Taking place at the glamorous London’s Guildhall on the 14th of October, the UK Theatre Awards were a veritable who’s who of UK theatre bringing together the leading figures and talents within the industry. Hosted by Olivier-nominated musical theatre performer Tyrone Huntley with presenters included Wendi Peters, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Ria Jones, Matt Cardle, Emma Williams and Michael Ellis MP, the awards celebrated the very best of UK theatre. The sleek glass awards captured the importance of the event with a classic design, a nod towards the heritage and prestige of the UK’s contribution to the stage over the centuries, and modern twist that looks forward to the future and current stars.
