Silver Awards 2020
Welcome back to the Creative Awards London blog where we bring you the latest in our bespoke awards and trophies. As lockdown begins to ease and the thought of a reopen draws ever closer, we want to share some of our silver awards with the idea that “every cloud has a silver lining”. During lockdown our teams have been refining our processes, purchasing new equipment and reviewing our practices to be able to hit the ground running and offer the very best service to clients both new and old.
Encapsulated in optically clear acrylic, the Silver Molecule Award is one of our most prized accomplishments. 2 years of R&D were spent perfecting the acrylic encapsulation technique that would allow the beautifully render carbon molecule to seamlessly float inside the block. The central metal piece was created from a digital master and is cast from sterling silver using century old jewellery techniques. .
The Azure Award was cut from two thick pieces of aircraft grade aluminium to create a weighty award that would have both a visual and tactile presence. Designed to celebrate the accomplishments of a leading tech company, the award takes inspiration from the branding of the company. A brushed satin finish was applied to the final piece to create a textured effect that lifted the cool aluminum into a more refined style before the company’s logo and name were engraved onto the base.
Acrylic and Aluminium Wolf Award
Capturing the spirit, energy and counter culture origins of the sport of BMX is the gnarly Acrylic and Aluminium Wolf Award. Commissioned especially for the iBMXff BMX World Championships featuring both professional and amateur contests across Park, Vert, Flatland and Dirt categories. The body of the bespoke award features an awesome hand drawn wolf graphic engraved into nickel plated, profiled aluminium body creating an incredible, stand out two tone image. To finish the award, the body was mounted on black acrylic base creating a kick-ass award fit for the best of BMX.
At Creative Awards London our love for all things film is fairly, we add, well known. Many of our team have previously worke within the film industry as writers, ADs, prop producers and camera operators. Celebrating our love of film with the Exit6 Award was a labour of love and we are proud to support this independent ceremony that gives the spotlight to up and coming directors, actors and writers. A single piece of highly polished metal forms the body of the award that was custom cast into the logo of the event before bright acrylic lettering was applied to the face of the award.
This heavy duty award was custom made from solid gold and silver-treated interlocking aluminium rings. Featuring an in house finish, the textured award captures the logo of the famous brand - can you guess who it is? Weighty and eye-catching, the award, dae we say, is not for the faint hearted!
