Using the latest in 3D printing technology, Creative Awards produced the bespoke Gold 3D-Printed Cable Gland Award. The CAD model used in the production of the cable was provided as the blueprint for the award to replicate the engineering feats involved with the cable. The SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) technique was used to bind the polyamide material together creating a solid cable structure. To finish, the award award placed on a gloss base, engraved and infilled by hand.
