Football is back
Welcome back to the Creative Awards London blog where we showcase our bespoke awards and trophies. As lockdown eases, after all many businesses are back to work, we see the UK and the World return to a sort of much missed normality. One of the exciting events to happen this week, commencing June 15th, is the return of the Premier League. Mainly composed of Arsenal fans, our team is looking forward to escaping in the league and wonder if Liverpool will continue their onslaught as the season starts again. To celebrate this milestone, we look at four fabulous football awards and get ready for #projectrestart on Wednesday 27th of June.
Commissioned by the Premier League as awards for their u12 tournaments, these awards were handed out to the stars of the future. Featuring the newly redesigned Premier League logo, iconic and instantly recognisable for fans across the globe, the awards were produced using thick cut aluminium. The modern design reflects the new branding of the league with clean lines and graphics.
Mark Noble 400 Appearances Award
Club legend, a one club man, Mark Noble of West Ham United is celebrated in our next football award. From humble beginnings in London's East End to captaining the club he supported as a boy, Mark Noble has made over 400 appearances for West Ham United. The specially commissioned award by the club is made from custom black and clear acrylic. At the heart of the award is the club logo and, of course, the man himself.
We remain in East London with our next award for the irons with the Lifetime Achievement award. Designed in house, the bespoke award for the club was commissioned to celebrate and recognise the achievements of some of the most influential footballers who have played for the Hammers. Trevor Brooking, Billy Bonds and Geoff Hurst are just a few names who have won this trophy and gone down in the annals of English sporting glory.
With just 2 goals in it the race for the Golden Boot is on. Precision strike, outrageous skill and goals galore are what seperate these elite strikers from those who couldn’t hit a barn door. The Golden Boot Award (produced for Rugby nevertheless) may not be a football award perse but is certainly an element of the beautiful game that we have missed. As the Premier League returns we want goals and we want lots of them! Who out of the below do you think will clinch it?
- Jamie Vardy Leicester England 19
- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Gabon Arsenal 17
- Sergio Agüero Manchester City Argentina 16
- Mohamed Salah Liverpool Egypt 16
