In today’s blog we bring you some of our finest acrylic awards of recent times. Acrylic is one of our most popular materials for our awards, the lightweight, durable alternative to glass acrylic can be moulded into an infinite amount of shape and colours allowing for a great deal of customisation.
One award to rule them all - The Neon Rulers. A minimalist award that is certainly more than the sum of its parts - the bespoke, custom cast rulers were commissioned by a leading design company. Each individually cast fluorescent ruler is complete with the logo of the company and measurements. Equally at home as a working ruler or on a mantelpiece, the Neon Rulers certainly reward those bright sparks and ideas that grow businesses.
This custom made acrylic award is a bright and colourful addition to any event or ceremony. Designed in house and custom cast by our experts, the Pop-Art Coloured Perspex Block is contemporary award that may be small but is big on colour. A minimalist design is lifted through the use of four colours which match the branding of the event, transforming the cube design into something much more. To finish, the award was hand engraved with the details of the event and the awards categories.
The spectacular acrylic award plays with the brand in a unique and impactful way. Two pieces of custom-tinted acrylic intertwine to create a bespoke award that is thoughtful and original. Mounted on a polished aluminium base the award captures and celebrates achievement.
Texture, shape and colour contrast to create a beautiful bespoke award commissioned especially for a leading company. The custom cast and tinted acrylic block with its smooth lines and angular features is offset by the moulded, gnarly iceberg set inside with the choppy waves creating additional texture on the top of the award.
Creative Awards London are immensely proud to announce our latest project, The Bisley Acrylic Filing Cabinet. For over 90 years, Bisley have been at the forefront of office design, crafting iconic pieces that form the backbone to many an office across the UK and the world. The renowned storage company approached Creative Awards London to produce a one-off piece that would showcase their iconic products. The handmade and completely unique Perspex acrylic filing cabinet was constructed over the course of two months. Drawing inspiration from the famous Bisley filing cabinets, each piece was cut and polished by hand. Made entirely from acrylic, the custom commission includes designated drawers, original label holders and the Bisley logo.
