Welcome back to the Creative Awards London blog where we bring you the very best in our custom made awards and trophies. Now, in today’s blog we rev our engines, admire some classic cars and get set and go with the Historic Grand Prix Association.

For over 40 years (nearly as old as ourselves!) The Historic Grand Prix Cars Association has brought together race enthusiasts across the world dedicated to keeping alive the spectacle of the classic Grand Prix race cars in action. Iconic and legendary race teams and brands such as  Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, ERA, BRM, Cooper and Lotus and many more are given new life as private owners meet to take this historic machines back out on the track. Starting in Britain, the association has grown in stature and now includes historic race meets across Europe at the most prestigious tracks.

With cars spanning over half a century of motor racing, from the 1920s to the 1960s, the developments in both design and engineering which took place during these years can be seen at close quarters both as they elegantly sit at the meets or in action. Creative Awards London were tasked with celebrating the 40th anniversary of this much beloved organisation and designed a custom made award especially for the event.

A classic design was chosen, befitting for the world's most famous classic cars. The custom made award  is a beautiful homage to the icons of the track. The wooden award features high-quality, FSC-approved, lasered maple with details of the race meets and bespoke designed graphics.
